It’s a well-known practice: around the world, raw materials and semi-finished products are packaged in bags and stacked on pallets for easy and cost-efficient transport and storage. If you want to use these semi-finished products in your process, the bags need to be opened. This is repetitive, physically demanding, and monotonous work – making it increasingly difficult to find employees willing to do it day in and day out.
